The Simple Rule: Bring Your Rifle, Whatever It Is
Our goal is to open the door to elite F-Class discipline for everyone. That means you do not need a match-grade rifle or exotic setup to start. Whether you own a hunting rifle, AR-15, competition rig, or weekend plinker, F-Class Laser Academy will adapt to it.
If it is safe, legal, and functional, you can train with it. The app’s scaling engine automatically adjusts target geometry and ballistic logic so that every session reflects realistic holdovers and corrections.
We follow the NRA F-Class rule structure to preserve the authenticity of the sport. Start now with the gear you already own. If you fall in love with the discipline, you can later prepare for sanctioned matches and follow the official standards for calibers, classes, and equipment.

Optics: Train with What You Use
Use the scope you actually shoot with outdoors. Your reticle, magnification, and eye relief remain identical between dry-fire and live-fire. From LPVOs to high-magnification scopes, all are supported through the F-Class Scope Focus Adapter and Universal Ring included in the kit.
This adapter ensures that your indoor sight picture matches real-world conditions with true geometry, close to parallax free, and a consistent line of sight.

Setup That Matters
A simple bipod or rest and a stable firing position are all you need. The kit is optimized for prone shooting but can be adapted to your space.
The one rule that cannot change is distance. Place your target at 8 yards from the rifle, with a clear line of sight at barrel height. This setup ensures accurate geometry, reticle scaling, and reliable shot detection, even when training indoors around furniture or obstacles.

Fairness and Team Training
F-Class is rooted in teamwork and precision. Use the Leaderboards to challenge friends, analyze performance, and build your own small team to train together. Compete across 30 Leaderboards, each tied to a specific target distance and difficulty level ,or step up to the Worldwide competition and see where you stand.
Guest mode lets family or friends train on your setup without affecting your Qualification or Stage Reports. Every kit uses the same 8-yard standard to ensure fairness, so results reflect skill, not equipment. The Leaderboards reward precision, discipline, and consistency - the true foundation of F-Class training.

Start Small, Think Big
You cannot start at any level immediately. The app requires 120 recorded shots to unlock the Stage Settings, where higher difficulty levels with ballistics become available through in-app purchase. These 120 shots can be completed at one distance or divided among several: six distances with 20 shots each.
You can compete with Friends right from your first shot, but the Worldwide Leaderboard unlocks only after your first 120-shot qualification. The Performance Dashboard updates every 20 shots, tracking your overall Qualification Score and trending progress across all distances and levels.
Some shooters may not reach qualification after 120 shots, and while we do not restrict access, we encourage fair judgment before entering harder competitions. Start with Level 1, master your setup and fundamentals, and let each 20-shot Stage move you closer to true F-Class mastery.

Safety and Common Sense
Dry-fire training is safe when practiced correctly. Always confirm the chamber is clear, store ammunition separately, and treat every setup like live-fire preparation. Remove the laser cartridge after training, and follow every match-ready habit: deliberate, calm, and precise.
