While free or homemade targets might look similar, they do not replicate official F-Class standards. Our targets are mathematically scaled replicas of NRA-certified F-Class targets, covering 300 to 1,000 yards in only 8 yards of space. Every ring, every measurement, every scoring line is preserved. More Than Ink on Paper: The Tech Behind the Target

Each F-Class Laser Academy target carries a unique QR code. When you scan it, the app instantly loads the preset for that target: distance scaling, scoring rules, timing, and difficulty unlocks.

At Difficulty Level 1, the target tests pure fundamentals such as aim, break, and repeat with no ballistics applied. But the same target also gives access to the digital difficulty levels, where you unlock deeper training layers: ballistic drop, crosswinds, randomized gusts, and the option to sync your personal firearm profile and DOPE card.

The low bar printed at the bottom of every target is not filler space. It is a reference panel packed with critical details: the actual firing line distance, the simulated distance, the target’s difficulty level, QR code, website link, target style, official type, real 1:1 size, and the precise re-scaled ratio used for indoor training. It also displays the target’s assigned name, the same one shown on your live screen during training.

Why does this matter? Because during a session, you may switch targets or cycle through distances. That reference panel gives you an instant check: which target am I on, what distance is it simulating, and which difficulty level am I running right now. No guesswork, no mistakes, just seamless transitions and complete confidence that your results are valid.

In other words, the same piece of card becomes a gateway to progressively more demanding training, all mapped to true F-Class geometry and backed by reference info you can trust.

Built for Precision and Durability

The targets are not just digitally smart, they are physically built for training. Printed on heavy-duty card stock or rigid plastic, they resist lighting issues, moving shadows, water, and even minor phone movement that would confuse other systems.

On the left side of every card, you will find a reticle reference scale in both MOA and MRAD. This allows you to align your optic crosshairs with the target and confirm your firing line distance. For example, many shooters use the 20 MOA mark: center the crosshairs on zero, then check that the 20 MOA mark lines up exactly. If it does not, your firing line distance is not correct. If the scope reticle appears lower than the printed reticle, you are too close and need to move back. If the scope reticle appears higher than the printed reticle, you are too far and need to move forward.

Next to the Reset mark you will notice a small round notch. This simple feature helps you position your phone’s back camera during setup. When the camera is centered on that circle, it confirms the device has the full target card in view, ensuring detection and scoring remain accurate.

The Reset mark itself also lets you restart drills without leaving position, keeping your stance and focus intact.
