The F-Class Laser Academy app organizes training into several difficulty levels, each built on official NRA F-Class standards. But here is the key: before you unlock anything advanced such as ballistics, wind, or custom DOPE and firearm profiles, you must first prove yourself at Level 1.

Level 1 is the foundation. No wind. No ballistics. Just you, your rifle, and the target. To move forward, you must complete 120 shots at this stage. Those results determine your first NRA-backed classification: Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert, Master, or High Master. Until then, your status is UN (Unknown).

This is not a restriction. It is a proving ground. By completing Level 1, you build trust in the system, confidence in yourself, and a qualification that mirrors real F-Class standards.

What Level 1 Really Tests

Why You Cannot Skip It

Some shooters, even seasoned ones, may want to jump to advanced challenges right away. But until you have fired 120 shots at Level 1 and earned a classification above Marksman, other Levels and multiple competitions with Friends or Worldwide stay locked.

This is not a punishment. It is structure. It ensures that when you face wind, ballistics, and advanced difficulty levels, you do so with a solid baseline. Just like on the real range, qualification is earned, never assumed.
