Product Description

The replaceable cap is the upper brass assembly of the LaserHIT LR/HD laser cartridge. It houses the micro PCB that activates the laser when struck by the firing pin. The hardened rubber pad on top acts as both an electronic trigger surface and a snap-cap protector, absorbing impact to prevent firing-pin damage. The cap also maintains battery pressure and alignment for consistent impulse delivery. Designed as a wear item, it should be replaced once the rubber pad or internal components show visible wear. Remove the thin black shipping film before first use.
